This ‘hi-fi speaker features a compact enclosure with power and detail. Ideal for 2-channel hi-fi systems, it is also suitable for immersive home theatre regardless of room size and application. The new Klarity cone material is a Polypropylene and mica blend which adds rigidity to prevent flexing and supports a lightweight cone with high rigidity, reduced colouration and ultra-fast response. The 25mm woven polyester dome tweeter delivers open and smooth extended high frequencies. The rear-ported enclosure is sized so the internal volume compliments the drive unit system for the desired sonic result. A multi-layered sandwich design subdues the distinct characters of the cabinet’s ‘sound’. Even the resonant properties of the glue between the layers has been measured to identify the top combination. Basically, they sound great.
